Review & change Universal credit legislation
People & families are being penalised or affected by the change over from Tax Credits to Universal Credit. There are extremely large numbers of people and families financially unstable and suffering since this benefit arose.
People with disablilities are being left with no money or support.
Housing has become more of an issue. Food banks are having more pressures. The amount of people taking their own lives and becoming depressed has rose again this is down to this benefit.
Students with or without families are being penalised, this makes people not want to gain further education which the government should be promoting.

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you would like changes to Universal Credit, but are not sure what changes you would like.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the
Government or Parliament to do.
