Ensure every Secondary School has a CAMHS Representative.
Secondary Schools usually have a small team on site to help with Mental Health, but with the growing real-term cuts to our Services and slow increase in Government Expenditure more Private institutions are getting involved.
Many Charity Organisations such as ‘Place2Be’ etc. are coming into schools and taking over. In many cases there has been issues with their counsellors and loopholes in clarity when it comes to Parents being able to know all information shared by worried students. We need a clearer plan and better representation from the Government instead of this lee-way allowing curroption and unclarity.
