Scientific journals should allow open access
Scientists pay private organisations to access other scientists research. This money does not go back into science but into private companies.
We believe this is unfair and restrictive to scientists.
A typical example of the problem is that one university pays to carry out research and then another university pays to access the results.
We believe the government should put pressure on scientific journals to allow open access.
