Redirection of the large overseas aid budget.
Throwing money at any problem is the easy way and likely to be a poor solution.Give people or countries the tools or know-how to advance. There is then no chance of individuals pocketing cash.Use the large budget to train young people in this country in all of the construction skills,e.g.carpenters,electricians,plumbers etc. These are the skills that many third world countries would value. We solve a serious UK problem of unskilled young people having little value in the job market and build up a work force that would be available,as part of their training conditions,to go where needed overseas. We still offer overseas aid but in people power.
