Prohibit discussion in Parliament of a 'Citizen's Panel'
MP's in Parliament ARE a 'Citizen's Panel', elected by the people for the people (even if often not 'of' the people). A 'Citizen's Panel' would be an affront to democracy as a glorified 'focus group' of unelected appointees with no accountability to the people.
We elect MPs to represent us and pay them huge salaries to discharge the responsibility - insist they respect us, do what they're paid to do, and stop them fobbing us off with gimmicks and slogans.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The issues an MP raises in Parliament are an individual decision for that person, and not a decision for the UK Government or Parliament as a whole.
