Immediately remove from office any MP awarded a custodial sentence.
Under the current system a custodial sentence must be of at least 12 Months duration in order to invoke the removal of a MP from office.
A Member of Parliament is by virtue of that appointment influential in the making and administration of British law. The public expects, nay demands the highest levels of honesty and integrity from those individuals. Any whom break the law to the extent that they are awarded a custodial sentence have forfeited their right to that office by flouting their duty to their constituents, Party and Country and should be automatically and permenantly stripped of their privileges and office.
