Make LGBT education and history part of the national curriculum
Most children get taught about important historical events and people such as Queen Elizabeth and WW1/2, but do not get taught about people that helped the stonewall riots or Harvey Milk, which were significant in history. Both of these events and people were important for shaping today’s society.
