Laser hair removal free on the NHS for women with polycystic ovaries (PCOS)
PCOS causes a higher level of testosterone in females leading to increased bodily hair, which has been linked to mental health problems. Laser hair removal is free on the NHS for trans women because of their gender dysphoria and should be free for women with PCOS throughout England.
