Reintroduce teaching of British Imperial measurements into the UK curriculum
Currently, the metric system is primarily taught in schools, with imperial being very loosely taught. This is problematic due to the fact that many real life scenarios (road signs, pints, weight etc) are measured in imperial. It's unfair for people not to be taught an important system used in the UK
- Road signs are Imperial (yards, miles)
- Body weight is given in Stone, lbs.
- Milk and beer is sold in pints.
- Height is measures in feet and inches.
Metric is the sole focus of the curriculum.
Bring imperial measurements in line with metric and restore people's ability to use real-life measurements and weights.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
Schools are already required to teach equivalences between common imperial measurements and metric measurements.
You can find out more here:

You could start a new petition asking for the guidance on teaching imperial units to be changed if that is something you would like to see happen.
