UK Parliament to consider leaving Ireland

Petition Details

We would like the UK Parliament to debate and consider returning the 6 counties of Ulster that make up the North of Ireland to the Republic of Ireland. This would remove any current or future problems over the border issue in any Brexit negotiations.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

This is a decision for the people of Ireland and Northern Ireland following a referendum, not the UK Parliament and Government.

You could start a new petition about something that the UK Parliament and Government are responsible for.
