Partners should be entitled to be Next of Kin during inquests

Petition Details

Rules for coroners should change so unmarried partners who have been nominated as next of kin are recognised as such during inquests.

Additional Information

I lived with my partner for two years and was his next of kin, after death this resumed back to his blood relatives. I was not entitled to his medical notes and rights to attend an inquest.
