Improve the time and resources spent on searching for missing people
In the UK, someone is reported missing every 90 seconds, while every year, 180,000 people are reported missing and there are 340,000 missing incidents. So much more can be done to find missing people, as I often feel that some cases receive more resources & coverage than others.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand you are concerned about what is done to locate people who are registered as missing, but we're not sure exactly what you mean by "improve the time and resources".
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do, for example to establish and fund a specialist unit for investigating missing persons cases.
