Legally make secondary schools begin at 10am to reduce teenage sleep deprivation
The teenage brain is more suited to going to sleep late and waking up early, due to a suppression of melatonin during puberty. The fact that the average teenager only sleeps 6.5-7 hours a night (when they should sleep 8) leads to lack of efficiency in learning and attention when attending school
