Change the age for same sex children sharing a bedroom. 10 year age gap
My 13 year old niece and 2 year old daughter are expected to share a bedroom. They have different routines /needs/privacy. My daughter is 2 1/2 and is sharing a bedroom with me and my partner. My niece enjoys evenings In her room and going to bed later then my 2 year old. It makes it difficult.

There is no general rule about children sharing bedrooms, so we're not sure what you'd like the UK Government and Parliament to do.
If you rent your home from the council or a housing association or claim housing benefit, there are rules about how many bedrooms you are entitled to. You can find out how many bedrooms you're entitled to here:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition asking for the housing allowance rules to be changed so that children with more than a 10-year age gap are not expected to share a room, if that's what you'd like to happen.
