Abolish the practice of MPs preventing passage of a Private Member's Bill.

Petition Details

Recent private member's bills have been halted by an MP shouting object.This can destroy months of hard work and delay very important reforms. Recent examples were bills in respect of female genital mutilation and "upskirting". The existing procedure is an anachronism and it needs to be stopped
