The funding model for the BBC is outdated and should be radically overhauled.
When the BBC was created it was the sole broadcasting body. As such it was not unreasonable for it to be funded by contributions by everybody who watched it. In the modern world with so varied a media availability the funding model can no longer be justified,and it should be radically overhauled.
