All LGBT+ couples to receive fertility treatment on the NHS
It’s unacceptable that parenthood is not fully available to LBGT+ couples. In the 21st century the community are still facing discrimination in the sense that heterosexual couples can receive fertility treatments on the NHS, but there is a very limited scope for what LGBT+ couples are entitled to.
Fertility treatments, such as IVF, can range anywhere up to £6000 for lesbian women. However, can be received for free by heterosexual couples. It’s a discriminatory injustice.
