Help to get knives off the streets
It is vital that the government change laws on knife crime as it can be the reasons for not only things like robbery's, assaults but also death. The campaign #knifefree has shown real life stories, one of them being Ben's story, where he began carrying a knife for protection.
-Increasing since 2014 by 10,000 offences
-214 people have been killed by a blade in England and Wales
-Average age for knife crime is 15
-Knives are the most common weapon used in England as there's not as many laws preventing use

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you would like more action to tackle knife crime, but are not sure what action you would like.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
