Petition Action

Forbid payment of any money to the EU if the UK has no properly elected MEPs.

Petition Details

Whilst the UK is an EU member, permanently or in transition, she must not be allowed to make any financial payments to the EU unless the UK is represented by properly elected, not appointed, MEPs in the EU parliament. Primary legislation must be passed to prevent "taxation without representation"

Additional Information

The European Union has made plans to reallocate British MEP seats to other existing member states after 29th March 2019 and has failed to confirm UK elected MEPs will fill those seats if the EU and the UK government extend Britain's EU membership after that date.

It can not be allowed that British tax payers' money passes to an organisation for which the UK people have no parliamentary representation.
