Stop overcharging barbers to play music in there shops
Why should we have to pay hundreds of pounds to play music in our shop for our entertainment and to keep us occupied and relaxed while we work. Especially when we pay money for Spotify for the right to listen to there music already
Taxi drivers do not Have to pay for a music lisence even though that is there for vechile and have people in and out like a barbershop. We should not have to pay to keep ourselves entertained while we work in our premises. Especially when it's a tiny ship.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand you are concerned about the cost of licensing music for use in commercial premises but aren't sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
You could start a new petition calling for barbers and hairdressers to be exempt from requiring music licences if that is something you would like to see happen.
