Enforce mandatory by-elections for any MP resigning their party.
We have seen MPs declare themselves as ‘independent’ despite having taken advantage of their previous party’s manifesto or constituents party loyalty.
Any MP that chooses to resign, should be made to call a by-election, so constituents have the opportunity to have an MP that reflects their will.
