Automatically trigger by-election if an MP resigns from their party.
Our MPs are elected based on the mandate of their party and upon resignation they are no longer representing that mandate and thus there should be an election to show that their views are representative of their electorates views.
This should also include all MP’s who have left their party to join the new independent group.
