Limit parliament to 100 MP required to bindingly consult electorate on all votes

Petition Details

The UK parliament has ground to a complete standstill over Brexit and it is time to overhaul our system of representation.

Additional Information

With the power of the internet public consultations with a clear binding direction to vote are within the power of the establishment to deliver. A system of routine meaningful public engagement would deliver a massive and uprecedented increase in democracy and accountability to the people of the UK and would remove any chance of any government being unable to deliver the will of the people. With the standard of the UK Civil Service having so many MPs is just not needed anymore and the cost is an unecessary burden to the UK.
