Award Tony Forbes of Sheffield an OBE for 66 years tending memorial of airmen.
Tony Forbes spent 66 years everyday tending a memorial to 10 airmen who died while in a Flying Fortress bomber over Sheffield, they avoided Tony and his friends (who where only aged 8 at the time), but in the process the 10 crew unfortunately died. They ensured that their aircraft missed Tony.
Tony Forbes, this story has been confirmed by many and today on the 22/02/19 they honoured the 10 airmen with a fly past which was televised. We should now honour Tony Forbes and his dedication and celebrate this man who is an example to us all.
