Recognize Tony Foulds for his 75 years of guilt and passion with a Knighthood.
Tony Foulds as shown on the BBC has been looking after an American Memorial for the past 75 years. After believing he stood in the way of a safe landing of the stricken bomber and it's 10 crew when he was 8.
This memorial located in Endcliffe Park, Sheffield.
As a child, Tony had been playing there and a stricken bomber was trying to make an emergency landing, unknown to Tony, the crew we're not waiving to bring happiness to one child, but to warn him from danger. The crew put down with failing engines, killing all 10 on board. Tony has lived with the guilt he somehow caused this.
The US bomber came down in Endcliffe Park, Sheffield on 22 February 1944, killing everyone on board
