Fund local councils with revenue gained from speeding fines in that constituency
Its been proven by freedom of information acts most authorities make over £8000 per day profit on speed aware courses. So this is serious money, and they now rely on it as part of the UK budget, they receive a small proportion of it back to re-invest.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you're concerned about local authority funding and the revenue from speeding fines but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, we're not sure whether you want local authorities to also receive revenue from speed awareness courses, most of which currently goes to police forces.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
