Save lives! Ensure ONLY Gas Safe engineers can buy & install gas boilers.

Petition Details

Stop unsafe installation of gas boilers by ensuring only qualified & registered Gas Safe engineers can buy/install gas boilers. Too few manufacturers have taken responsible measures to ensure only registered engineers can purchase their boilers. More manufacturers must follow suit!

Additional Information

Many people all over the UK are put at serious risk when boilers are installed by rogue installers who claim to be qualified. They are able to get away with these practises as there are no checks & balances in place to ensure they cannot purchase boilers let alone fit them. If such regulation existed it will mean all installations would be traceable to a registered person & installed according to the highest level of safety expected of all Gas Safe registered engineers.
