Allow full-time second degree STEM students to access SLC tuition loans
Student finance provide funding for your first degree in full time study and then provide funding for part time study in STEM subjects for your second degree.
That doesn't apply for other way around, studying part time first for first degree and full time for your second degree in a STEM subject. It is unfair!!
Students who do their first degree part time, through distance learning but then realise it is not for them cannot get funding to go to brick and mortar university to study full time. You can do it other way round though! Unfair!
