Petition Action

Make it a legal requirement to stop if a cat is infront of a car.

Petition Details

230,000 cats are run over each year. Almost a quarter of a million cats are run over on British roads every year. Drivers hit 630 cats every day, according to insurer Petplan. At the moment a car has to stop for a dog, however it is not the case for cats as its still legal to kill cats.

Additional Information

I recently lost my cat beaker he was 1 year old and got hit by a car.
that was the most pain i ever felt.
