REFERENDUM TO IMPLEMENT PUBLIC SECTOR PENSION REFORMS

Additional Information

This petition should be signed by anyone who believes that the public sector pensions commitment is excessive, unfair & requires reformation without unreasonable opposition from trade unions.

The petition proposes that the reforms set out in the Public Service Pensions Commission Report should be implemented without delay or put to referendum.

At a high level the report recommends that unfunded public sector pensions are set at a level that is similarly found in the private sector.
