Reform of Court of Protection
The Court of Protection is shrouded in secrecy which may lead to unfair judgements. All decisions in the court of protection should be made public and their should be limits to its powers and who can raise a case.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you would like decisions of the Court of Protection made public, but we aren't sure what you mean by "limits to its powers and who can raise a case".
You could start a new petition setting out clearly the reforms you would like to see. Alternatively, you could start a petition calling for a review of the court's powers alongside a requirement for the court to make its decisions public.
