Prevent MPs from holding other jobs/positions while serving
Compared to the average UK wage MPs do very well financially plus lots of extras too (expenses) it's time they removed the temptation of politically motivated companies/organisations/influencers if they can't manage on 80k+ they should try other things

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand you are concerned about MPs having other jobs, but we aren't sure exactly what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
In particular we are not sure what you mean by "other jobs/positions" and whether your proposed ban would cover all other forms of employment, including ministerial posts and unpaid roles.
You could start a new petition setting out clearly the change you would like to see.
