Allow students to have their preferred name on the register

Petition Details

Many students that are transgender do not have the option to be called what they would like on the register or they may need parental permission. For some students, their parents may not be accepting which results in them being called the wrong name.

Additional Information

Due to personal experiences I know how hard it is being called the wrong name on the register and by other people. I personally believe that changing the law to allow students to have their correct/preferred name on the register, would make them happier.
