Abolish the DVLA rule that makes it mandatory to declare an Autism Diagnosis.
The DVLA introduced a rule on 4/3/2019 stating that ALL drivers with an Autism Diagnosis (including aspergers and other forms of 'high functioning' Autism) MUST declare this to them. If they don't and they are caught they could receive a £1000 fine.
This is unfair and unjustified.

You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the DVLA has since clarified that there is only a need to inform them of autism or aspergers if it impacts the ability to drive. We are therefore unsure what further action you would like taken.
You can find the revised guidance here:
www.gov.uk/asd-and-driving
www.gov.uk/asperger-and-driving
You could start a new petition to remove the requirement to notify the DVLA entirely if that is something you would like to see happen.
