Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy to become a recognised disability.
Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy, otherwise know as Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy is debilitating disease which hasn't been recognised as a Disability. Causing chronic pain, sensation and motor skills in the limbs and ultimately paralysis I propose needs at least consideration and recognition.
Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy, otherwise known as Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy occurs when 'wear and tear' arthritic changes in the spine in the neck compress and injure the spinal cord, causing a progressive spinal cord injury.
Myelopathy.org is a website and charity spreading awareness, support and up to date studies at Cambridge University Hospitals. Here you will find facts and evidence that DCM is recognisable as a disability. Please do take some and read up on the site's info.
