To limit the size of fuel tank on lorries in UK

Additional Information

That the law be changed to limit the size of fuel tanks on all lorries operating in UK. This restriction to apply to both UK and foreign registered vehicles. The limit should be set at a level that will permit the vehicle to travel no more than 600 miles without re-fuelling. This measure would have 2 benefits. First it would prevent lorries coming to the UK from overseas without paying the tax paid by UK operators. Second it would reduce the risk of devastating fire in the event of a road traffic accident.
