Petition Action

Revoke Article 50 if the EU does not agree to extend the Brexit deadline.

Petition Details

MPs are likely to vote in favour of asking the EU to extend the Brexit deadline beyond March 29. However, there is no guarantee that the EU will agree to extend the deadline when Parliament is deadlocked. To make sure we avoid a no-deal Brexit, we must have the option of revoking Article 50.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept your petition because EU has agreed to extend the Article 50 negotiating period, so we aren't sure what action you would like the Government to take.
