Change the 40% tax bracket
40% tax is set at £46,351. The next bracket 45% is set at over £150,000. That is a huge gap in my opinion. I think the current tax bracket needs to be doubled because with an earning of £46,000 I can’t afford a mortgage but can afford to pay extortionate tax.
