Ban knife sales online

Petition Details

According to a recent BBC News article so far this year 41 people have died from stabbings and The Guardian reports that 11 of these were teenagers. Sadly knife crime is on the increase and more lives are being lost. I want to try and help to change street culture. No more lives need to be lost.

Additional Information

Let's put pressure on the government to remove online knife sales. Online sales make it too quick and easy for people, particularly teenagers, to get hold of knives. Shockingly, BBC News reported 39,818 knife crimes offences in 2018.

A number of articles in 2017 explained the delivery of knives to homes were to be banned. However, a quick online search reveals how easy it is to get knives delivered, with one site actually stating that store collection was not an option.

This calls for change.
