Raise child tickets on public transport to the age of 18 not 16.
It costs too much to travel to college if you do not have a job. Some people ages 16-18 do not have access to any close by jobs without paying a ridiculous amount of money to cover the journey to a job. If you go to sixth form, chances are you have no time to work.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Aged-based transport fares are not set by the UK Government. For buses, local bus companies are free to set their own fares. For trains, the fares are set by train operating companies.
You could start a new petition asking Parliament to change the law, to require all transport operators to offer child fares for anyone under 18.
