The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because decisions on whether to prosecute someone are taken by the Crown Prosecution Service, which is independent of the UK Government and Parliament.
You could start a new petition calling for a new law to give soldiers immunity from prosecution for things they have done during their duties if that is something you would like to see happen.
