Supermarkets use 100% recyclable or biodegradable packaging for own products.
According to Which? between 12% and 21% of supermarket packaging goes to waste. Often packaging that is recyclable is poorly labelled, or lacks any information. Supermarkets should accelerate their sustainability goals and create a blanket guarantee that no own brand packaging goes to landfill.
