Votes in Parliament regarding leaving the EU to include the option NoBrexit

Petition Details

Votes in Parliament regarding leaving the EU should include the option “NoBrexit” to Remain in the EU. The 2016 Referendum was compromised by untruths, illegal overspend and funding by a Brexit campaign that aided the small margin Leave ‘win’

Additional Information

A vote in Parliament for NoBrexit could avoid the need for a second referendum, leading to Revoking A50, unless there was also a demand for a people’s vote as a second referendum.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what you would like the UK Government or Parliament to do.

The indicative votes on Brexit held on Wednesday 27th March did include an option to revoke Article 50. We aren't sure what further action you would like taken.
