Alun Wyn Jones should receive a Knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
A leader by example, he epitomises the character of Wales and the Welsh people - immensely proud of his heritage yet humble as to his achievements. He leads from the front, encourages his teammates and carries the respect of his adversaries.
He has been foremost in the resurgence of Welsh Rugby in the last ten years and proudly holds the record of most Welsh and British and Irish Lions caps.
