In School we should be learning about Life Skills instead of Maths, Spanish etc.
In School we learn about ‘what is the area of a triangle’ and ‘what is this and that in Spanish’ and other things like that but we really aren’t interested in it, it’s unlikely that it will help us in the future, we need to learn Life Skills, things that we will 100% need to know for the future.
For Life Skills this should include: help in careers (not just college), salaries, credit, budgeting, money management, taking out a loan, buying a house, filing your taxes, how to raise a family, drive a car, get a job, pay bills, and live a happy normal life! We’re expected to get everything right without being taught much, expected to get good grades and if we don’t we get punished! Many teenagers suffer from Mental Health issues and teachers don’t care! they just ignore it! It needs to stop!
