All Brexit Campaign fines to go to the NHS

Petition Details

To do something positive with all the fines from the Brexit Vote to hopefully make our politicians think before telling lies and stopping corruption in our democracy.
The NHS seems like a really good cause after the heavy use of our health service in the Brexit Campaign.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept your petition because under the current law, fines can't be allocated to specific causes (hypothecated) like this.

You could start a new petition calling for a change in the law so future fines levied by the Electoral Commission are automatically allocated to specific parts of government if that's something you would like to see happen.
