Support the Local Government Association’s opposition to removing live music licensing restrictions.
Support the Local Government Association’s opposition to removing live music licensing restrictions.
Live music is linked to shootings, serious crime, binge drinking, and drug dealing.
Live music events attract customers to public houses from outside the local area causing a serious threat to public safety.
Live music is the single largest cause of noise complaints and the Local Government Association has warned of a massive rise in complaints if the law is changed.
Hundreds of public sector jobs are at risk if live music licensing reform goes ahead.
And yet the Government is proposing to remove the right of local residents and councillors to veto live music events.
