Reduce MPs salary
At a time of nationwide austerity I feel it important that it is not just the ordinary voters of Britain that must bear the brunt of the Government's agenda of cuts, our Members of Parliament must too take some of the pain.
The current salary for an MP stands at £65,738. On top of this, as we all well know, they can also claim for expenses.
In the current economic climate I think it is unfair that MPs are shielded from the cuts that they are enforcing and it is time that, along with the rest of the country, their salaries were brought down to a normal level.
