Remove Jeremy Clarkson from BBC television programmes
Jeremy clarkson has gone too far with his comments over public sector workers striking. I for one do not see why I should pay his wages via the licence fee when he seems to think that he works harder and does a more important job than teachers, doctors, nurses, dustmen and all our other much valued public sector workers. I would like the government to press the BBC to remove him from its payroll.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This is a matter for the BBC.
It is a long-standing principle that the Government does not interfere in programme matters. It is important to maintain the principle of freedom of expression which political interference could undermine.
