Make it an offence to mislead voters to their and/or the nation's detriment.
It must surely be wrong that ordinary consumers and investors receive more legal protection than voters who are entrusted with taking critical decisions on behalf of both our country and which affect the citizens of countries with whom we have legally binding mutual obligations.
Legislation regarding trade descriptions and information regarding companies protects consumers and investors. Surely voters deserve equivalent protection.
